The London Stock Exchange has responded to CESR's call for evidence on modifications to the UCITS directive and the definitions of eligible assets.
The Exchange has called for a flexible approach to framing the definitions that ensures consistency across directives while allowing UCITS to take advantage of new and innovative investment products that can provide a more efficient way meet their investment objectives.
